One of the most inspiring scriptures that I am getting my heart around is found in Romans 12:6 Paul is detailing the various spiritual gifts believers function in. When he comes to prophecy he says we are to prophecy by faith. Think about that statement…prophecy according to faith. The mandate for a prophetic believer, and I believe all Christians are to be prophetic, is to speak words that require faith to see. In our North American culture we have become people that applaud and reward skepticism but deride faith and mystery. We pay huge sums of money to people, not for actually creating something, but for pointing out what is wrong with what creative people have designed or are exploring.
The Lord says I’m going to use you, the Lord is showing me that it’s an arts community God is showing me that he’s going to give you a warehouse. I see sound, I see the A-listers coming, I see recording, I see rappers, Hiphop artists… etc. The Lord says I’m going to bring them and they’re going to get gloriously delivered, gloriously saved. You’re going to have a ministry of deliverance, the Lord says your gonna set the captives free and you’re going to eradicate poverty, you have a great anointing to fight poverty.
I would like to thank all who supported my going on this trip to Trinidad. My life is forever changed because of it, God reached out to me in many ways as I served the nation of Trinidad during spring break. The Sunday before I left on the trip, God began to prepare my heart. “Stop asking why, and just do it,” was what Cheryl told me after the Church prayed for my safe traveling. “Just do what?” I asked God. I tried to put the pieces together but could not find the right piece to complete this word that God had given to Cheryl to tell me. So I left it alone. It was not until I arrived in Trinidad that God spoke and clarified the word that I received. It was at the mission conference, which was held at a hotel.
