What are Healing Homes?
Acts 5:42 teaches that day after day the Apostles taught in the temple courts and HOUSE to HOUSE that Jesus is the Christ. New Dimension Church is largely built on the belief that the church is not made of bricks and mortar but it is made up of actual people who live in Christ. John Alexander Dowie, was a great revivalist in Illinois who at the turn of the last century established homes throughout the Chicago area where people from all over came with all manner of sickness and disease and were remarkably set free by the power of Jesus the Savior and Healer. Our aim is to re-create that kind of atmosphere and go after that kind of anointing throughout our region by having houses serve as places of worship where God has free reign to heal soul and body. In homes people get saved, healing takes place, prophecy goes forth, incredible worship happens, and the word of God burns in our hearts as it is preached. How cool is that?? God showing up right in our living rooms! These house churches meet on Sundays twice a month and then attend corporate celebrations the other Sundays. Many homes meet other days as well. So people not only “come” to church but they “do” church on Sundays. Some homes have 10 people some have 2 people; the most important thing is that the whole body is doing ministry and not just the head. This embodies the heart of what New Dimension Church is all about. real people doing real ministry in real situations.

It’s also important to remember to check whether the week you plan on attending a Healing Home is an “Alpha Sunday,” or “Omega Sunday,” or if its a “Hosanna Sunday Celebration (During these Sunday’s there are no Alpha or Omega Healing Home meetings).”
