Pastor Robyn Rease

Pastor Robyn Rease

Robyn is originally from Pensacola, FL and relocated to Boston after graduating from Mercer University in Macon, GA in 1989. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and African American Studies and studied Creative Writing at Northeastern University. Robyn is a prolific poet, playwright, short story, and screenwriter. She has written countless collections of poetry and in 2004, recorded a CD of poetry set to original jazz with her friend, GW Russell Jr., entitled The Pianist and the Poet.

She is the founder and artistic director of Stage Praise Productions – a theatre, film, and television company whose mission it is to change the face of entertainment – and the world – one story at a time! Robyn believes in art as ministry and has been writing since the age of three. She has written more than a hundred skits and full length plays and has directed and staged nearly forty of them at different churches and venues all along the east coast. Popular titles include Show Me The Glory, Moving Day, Moving Further Still, Scrambled Eggs, Empty Kitchen Chairs-The Stage Play, Forcin’ It, and Hoopin’ – to name a few. Robyn was the director of a church theatre company for more than twelve years and is now helping to build drama ministries in two other congregations in the New England area. Additionally, she has worked in youth ministry and has a passion for ministry to teenage girls.

Robyn joined Jubilee Christian Church (then New Covenant Christian Center) in 1989 and began serving in ministry under Bishop Gilbert and Pastor Yvonne Thompson in 1991. After demonstrating a gift in teaching the Word and acknowledging her call to ministry, Robyn was ordained as a pastor in 2004 under Church Without Walls International. She is now a senior associate pastor at New Dimension Church in Providence, RI under the leadership of Pastors Troy and Theresa Goode. She made a territorial commitment to the ministry and to the Providence area with her relocation to Rhode Island in August 2009.

Currently, Robyn is an Assistant Principal at the Wellesley Middle School in Wellesley, MA and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. Recently hearing a Word from God, she is developing plans to open two schools: a boarding school for emotionally and behaviorally challenged girls and a Christian performing arts academy.

In 2007, she developed Empty Kitchen Chairs for the screen and shot the trailer for a feature length film scheduled to shoot in 2010. Robyn enjoys cooking, entertaining, shopping, and preaching the Word of God. She is a profound teacher, a lively exhorter, and is powerfully used in the ministry of deliverance and inner healing.
