Pastor Robert gave his life to Christ at the age of seventeen and developed an early love for the Word of God and verse memory. He received a call to ministry in 1990 and was led to enter Andover Newton Theological Seminary as an M. Div. candidate. While God’s purpose for Robert took him away from school before graduation, the experience has been invaluable to Robert in his time in ministry. Pastor Robert has preached at several churches in Massachusetts, each time responding to a call on his heart to “edify” the people of God in the ministry.

Pastor Robert has been in ministry for almost 27 years, serving as teacher, treasurer, marriage counselor and spiritual mentor. In all of the work that God has called him to do, Robert has always used his immense organizational skills and administrative gifts to bring a high level of integrity and purpose to the things of God and he continues to be excited about the journey that he started with God almost thirty-three years ago.

In addition to working with the church, Pastor Robert currently works as an Associate Director of Information Technology for Harvard University. He is the husband of Renée Heywood and father of three children: Robert, Jr.; Richard and Rhema.
