Pastor Carolyn Aldridge
Pastor Carolyn Aldridge, Administration Pastor, New Dimension Church
Pastor Carolyn Aldridge is a long time resident of Boston, having moved there with her family as a young child from her native Memphis, Tennessee. She is a graduate of the former St. Patrick’s High School of Roxbury, with further studies at Newbury College.
In her Christian walk, Pastor Carolyn spent many years in The Church of God In Christ (COGIC) family. Later, she was a member of New Covenant/Jubilee Christian Church for almost 10 years. During that time she was appointed METRO Assistant. In that capacity she endeavored to enhance the students’ learning experiences by establishing processes that kept things running smoothly. At the same time, she was going deeper and deeper into her own spirit in search of a mission that would help to satisfy her craving for more of God’s Grace.
In the year 2002 the revelation and understanding of God’s purpose came alive. While attending a conference in Fort Washington, Maryland, she began to understand that one of her special giftings was in administration. With that, she accepted a new vision and began to allow the Holy Spirit to build her up in weakened areas that were left underdeveloped through theft by the enemy. Through the teachings of Pastor Susie Thomas, Bishop Gideon Thompson and Pastors Troy and Theresa Goode, a transformation took place: the caterpillar emerged from the cocoon and developed into the beautiful butterfly. (Luke 24:1-12) God saw come to fruition what he had planted in her.
Because of her understanding of process, and her devotion to seeing and helping others succeed, she was appointed Administrative Assistant to Pastor Troy Goode at Jubilee Christian Church-South, Stoughton, MA in 2007. God began to advance and strengthen her leadership skills and her spiritual influence on others around her began to expand.
On April 5, 2009, Pastor Carolyn was ordained as Administrative Pastor for New Dimension Church. Now the gift of administration, which caused her to be in the circle of pastoral influence, would be the foreground for bringing the Word in season and out of season. Her skills and her love combine to focus on the development of “process”. She is convinced that in any organizational function a successful process is the key to a successful outcome.
When asked what she sees as her mission, Pastor Carolyn stated that the Holy Spirit has directed her to leave a strong legacy for young women. It is to teach them and help them understand that if they honor God and pull from within on the strength that he provides, they can accomplish great and honorable things. The basis for all activities must be personal integrity, for that is the steppingstone to cross the rivers of challenges that they must face.
Pastor Carolyn has one offspring, her daughter Karole (KC). She puts a priority on relationships with friends and family, as she understands that God has a purpose for giving one friends and family.
